Services

The department provides Career Counselling services to students in grade X to XII. Students find themselves at cross roads at these phase of their education and are not often well equipped with information and skills to make a right decision. The pressure is higher as the decision is directly linked to the future career he or she wants to take up in life. Students are often confused and turn to their peer, teachers, siblings or parents for help who themselves are often confused.  Students' decisions are easily influeced by thier peers, media etc and could be unrealistic. At this phase students are often found in the following status:

  1. Some are fixed on a career without much exploration of various options,

  2. Some are on contineous exploration of careers and not able to decide on one,

  3. Some are explored various career options and decided on one and

  4. Some are neither exploring nor make any commitment on a career.
